My name is Zach Rothbauer, and I have had a lifelong passion for the outdoors, fishing, and helping others experience the excitement of Minnesota catfishing. Growing up in a small town along the Minnesota River provided me with the unique opportunity to fish one of the state's best catfishing waters, developing a deep appreciation for what the Minnesota River has to offer.
For more than 15 years, I have dedicated myself to pursuing both Flathead catfish and Channel catfish, continually refining my skills as a catfishing guide, expanding my knowledge of fish behavior, and mastering proven fishing techniques. My goal is to share that experience with every client who steps aboard.
My involvement in small local catfishing tournaments, competitive fishing leagues, and countless outings with friends and family has helped me develop a deep understanding of the Minnesota River fishery, catfish habitat, bait presentation, and techniques that consistently produce big fish. I take pride in providing a fun, educational, and memorable fishing charter experience for anglers of all ages and skill levels.
Safety is always my top priority. I am certified in CPR and First Aid and have completed all required boating and safety training. Additionally, I am a fully licensed United States Coast Guard Charter Captain, ensuring every guided fishing trip is conducted with professionalism, responsibility, and a commitment to safety on the water.
